The Colors - The blue represents the deep sea, while black is generally the color of the hull of a ship. Blue and black were selected for aesthetic purpose.
The Ovals - The first of the three ovals, black, represents service to principals. Service being the main task of all ship agents. The second oval, also black, represents the ship agents. Without the business enterprise there would be no ship agent. The third oval, also black, represents the ship agents in the association. By bonding together the ship agents will have one voice for its members.
Convergence of arrows - The half arrows of the ovals are all directed to the center at the end of three loops. These were design to show unity of the three purposes
